Accounts
Account details only. Surveys and vessel data are not listed here, but
Set up tanks opens that user's fleet so a calibration table can be entered for them, and
anything saved there goes into their account. Private preference records — certificates,
rest hours, contract — stay out of reach. See “Operator access” in the privacy policy.
Calibration requests
Move the status as the job progresses — the customer sees it on their
Calibration Tables page. Open account takes you into their fleet; the table itself is
typed up under Bunker → Enter Calibration.
Ref is what Stripe shows as the payment's client reference, so you can tell which
request a payment belongs to — hover it for the full value. Payments are not detected
automatically: check Stripe, then move the status to Paid yourself.
CALIBRATION TABLESSend us the vessel's table — we set it up on your account
Two ways to get a vessel calibrated
US$2 per tank
Send us the table and we set it up
Send whatever the shipyard issued — PDF, Excel, or a clear scan — and we type it up, check every tank against your setup and attach it to your account. Trim and heel corrections included; nothing for you to format or convert.
Typical 8-tank vessel: US$16. Priced per tank actually entered.
Send the table in whatever form you have it — there is nothing to fill in or convert.
- Fill in the vessel below and send the request.
- Email the calibration table to admin@quantank.org — put the vessel name in the subject.
- We enter it, tank by tank, and check it against your setup. The vessel's badge turns ● Calibrated and GOV is read from the table instead of being estimated from tank dimensions — in the app as well as here.
- You check it before you pay. Run your own soundings against it and satisfy yourself it matches the vessel. A Pay button appears on the request only once it is set up and ready for you to check.
Nothing is paid up front. We do the work first, you verify it against the vessel, and
you pay only if it is right. If it is not right we will correct it, or close the job and
charge nothing.

CALIBRATION UPLOADLoad a table and attach it to one tank — one tank at a time
The table
Choose one or more .csv/.txt files, or
paste straight out of Excel — either way it lands in the same box, so you can load and then
correct by hand. First column is the depth. Trim columns go under a header row of trim
values (first cell blank or a label); one value column means no trim correction.
A whole vessel at once: select several files (one per tank, named after the tank), or
put all the tanks in one file separated by a line holding just the tank name —
Tank 1 on its own line starts a new tank. You will see what maps to what
before anything is written.Heel correction · optional
Same shape, but the header row carries heel angles in
degrees and the cells are corrections in the depth unit above. Leave empty if the table has none.

High-level alarm — a tank is over 90% full
Sync note: changes save to the cloud instantly and reach your other devices on their next sync. If the phone app has unsynced local changes, the phone's copy wins when it syncs — open the app and sync it before editing here. GOV is entered manually on the web for now; on calibrated vessels the app computes it from the tank tables.
